A great breed, she has become our family favorite,spirited and loveable, never thought we would feel like this about chickens.

My two buff polish hens are hilarious to watch. One's crest is curved around her head very tightly, limiting her vision, but it cracks me up how high she jumps when she first realizes I'm in front of her. Still, she is a beauty, and won the blue ribbon at the Delaware State Fair. Save yourself a trip to the zoo and order a few of these! - Kasandra

I got my fifty chicks one week ago today. One little one stands out immediately. She is the lone Buff Laced Polish, and is the most curious one by far. She stretches as high as she can on her little legs and appears to be trying to see what is outside of her pen. We have already named her Truman, even though she's a hen. Just like Truman from the movie The Truman Show, she is convinced there is a world outside of her boundaries. I can't wait to see what she's like as she grows up.
