Customer Product Reviews
The Buff Laced Polish are great. They are so friendly and funny. They arrived healthy.
Our six Buff Laced Polish are wonderful pets! Easy to manage, love to be picked up and talked to. They are now 18 months. Great genetics. We are regularly getting 6 medium sized eggs a day. They started laying last Christmas, and haven't stopped. Minimum eggs layed were 3, average 4-5, and now in December, 6/day. They have solved our slug and woodbug problem in the garden. And the veggie garden has never been so vigorous! Thanks McMurray for my great little pets!
Thank you so much Murray McMurray for my Buff Laced Polish! This was my first year entering chickens (in this case my B. L. Polish, Hazel) in the fair and I walked away from our county fair with a blue ribbon! The staff over the phone were extremely helpful too. Thanks again!
We ordered 25 Buff Orpingtons and they came with Kevin. We just found out tonight that Kevin is a little Buff Laced Polish. He stands-out as friendly, curious, and a little wierd looking just like the bird from the movie "Up" (thus Kevin). He's quickly become a favorite and we're looking forward to more odd developments. Thank you for this neat little gift!
Thank you so much McMurray Hatchery . I have won Best Continental, Reserve large Fowl, and Reserve Jr. from the 2 shows i have entered with these guys. We even got a $50 offer from a breeder who wanted one of our Buff Laced hens. I love my Buff Polish and can't wait to order some more next year.
I absolutely love my Buff Laced Polish pullet that everyone calls Aphrodite, or Afro for short! I've shown her in four fairs this year, and every time she is in the running for champion hen! She's gotten two champion titles, and I am so happy with my Murray McMurray Polish! (:
I laughed when I read the other reviews because it defines our new Buff polish girls. They stand higher than everyone else and try to peep over all of the other chicks. Standing tall and proud, our 2 buffs act like supermodels and strut around wherever they are. My children love all of the many types of polish we purchased, but the buff definitely have a curious attitude that makes them stand out. I can't help but smile when I watch them, we can't wait to watch them grow!
This bird is a great breed of bird!!! We got one as a free chick, and it became our favorite chic out of 25.
I got my fifty chicks one week ago today. One little one stands out immediately. She is the lone Buff Laced Polish, and is the most curious one by far. She stretches as high as she can on her little legs and appears to be trying to see what is outside of her pen. We have already named her Truman, even though she's a hen. Just like Truman from the movie The Truman Show, she is convinced there is a world outside of her boundaries. I can't wait to see what she's like as she grows up. Thanks again for an order of beautiful, lively, healthy chicks.
My two buff polish hens are hilarious to watch. One's crest is curved around her head very tightly, limiting her vision, but it cracks me up how high she jumps when she first realizes I'm in front of her. Still, she is a beauty, and won the blue ribbon at the Delaware State Fair. Save yourself a trip to the zoo and order a few of these! - Kasandra
A great breed, she has become our family favorite, spirited and loveable, never thought we would feel like this about chickens.
