Designed to be the house that the chickens themselves would choose, through its clever design the eglu also makes light work of the chores leaving you more time to enjoy these wonderful pets.

The eglu's secure run!

Every eglu comes complete with its own secure run. It has a unique skirt specially designed to keep out predators such as foxes.

The run is made from extremely tough 10 gauge steel weldmesh and its unique tunnel-proof panels will resist animals trying to dig in. The dark green PPE coating is fused to the metal wires ensuring a durable finish that also looks great in your backyard.

The run comes in sections for easy transportation or storage and can be assembled in minutes. The end panel opens for access to the feed and water containers and you can also use it to let your chickens out.

Inside the eglu

The eglu has wooden perching bars and a generous nesting box for egg laying - all the practical features that your chickens need. As well as this come thoughtful extras such as the modern twin walled insulation and draught free ventilation that keeps your chickens warm in winter and cool in the summer.

The eglu is designed to make maintenance quick and easy For weekly cleaning simply slide out the innovative tray which catches all the chickens droppings. For more extensive cleaning and airing the whole lid can be removed. The eggport, on the side of the lid, gives easy access to the nesting box and makes looking for and collecting the eggs a daily pleasure.

I have TWO Eglu's and they are great... They protect the hens from the weather..and have anice size nest inside...They are really easy to clean too!... Very space effective also..!
