Here is another fine example of the crested fowl and among the most ornamental of all. These were brought to their wonderful point of development by European and English breeders as long ago as the mid 1800's. Very showy and also useful layers of white eggs. Baby chicks are a dark brown.
This bird got me a reserved champion. We got him as an exotic and that was the best bird that I got that year. With his funny crested head and his great attitude I really do recommend this bird.

I highly recommend the Golden Polish as an addition to anyones flock. I have enjoyed raising these birds and always get a chuckle when I see them. They are always the subject of conversation when guests come to visit. My kids really get a kick out of them.
We ordered 2 Golden Polish roosters in early April. Already, they are apart of the flock. They are so goofy looking and their crows are cute. Both are extremely friendly, a little on the shy side, but still wonderful. They have such a funny personality and are hilarious to watch. I love them!
I got some Golden Polish for my 4-H project last year.I took them to the fairand they won a purple ribbon. I would recomend these chikens to anyone that wants to show off at a show or fair! They are great!
