This book has brief breed descriptions and lots of information about the many things new chicken owners should consider. This is a really enjoyable British book geared toward the family considering a small backyard flock. Even has some nice watercolor illustrations mixed in with the fantastic photography of many different breeds of chicken, housing options, etc.
