Stick Height Measuring. Hold a tape measure in your left hand. Extend the tape measure to the ground. Now swing your right arm and grab the tape measure with your right hand. Note the measurement above your right hand. Do this several times - most people will be within an inch of the same measurement each time. Take the largest measurement that you record. You want to order a stick that is several inches taller than this measurement. For example, if you record 48 inches, then you would order the 55 inch size.
