Rhode Island Red Started Pullets
A Rhode Island Red has a lustrous rich dark mahogany red with a dark tail. These pullets are one of the best dual-purpose breeds and a super choice for back-yard flocks. The birds are hardy and do excellent in a free range operation though they will also do well in confinement. They are a wonderful choice for production of large brown eggs at around 24 weeks of age. All have been fully vaccinated.
 
When this foundation breed matures, hens should weigh approximately 5 pounds. These birds are not debeaked but are free-ranged on grass for health and vitality.

My pullets arrived healthy and happy. I have had them about a month and they are thriving. Beautiful birds.
The girls arrived today! And they are so adorable and happy! They cheeped and bokked all the way home and have settled in so nicely. They are very calm (no problems handling them and getting them into the coop), robust and actively seeking bugs and feed. And their color is just gorgeous!!! I cannot wait for our first eggs! Thank you all so much!
