The secret to good picking is thorough,accurate scald. This home unit works well when you have just a few chickens, quail, game birds, ducks, and even small turkeys to process. It is heavy duty, 110 Volt heating element, has a thermostat that is adjustable from 120 to 175 degrees F. The tank is made of fiberglass, and is easy to clean and maintain. It measures 20" X 20" X 20" with an interior depth of 18" and weighs 30 lbs. (NOT recommended for commercial or heavy use.)

5SCL1 is Double Heating Element Scalder which requires two 110 Volt circuits.

5SCL2 is 240 Volt Heating Element Scalder which requires a 240 Volt circuit.
