The crested breeds are the most interesting and beautiful of all chickens with their full, feathery crests. The baby chicks are especially pretty and cute as the crests show up as little top hats right from the start. These breeds are very quiet and gentle and don't seem to stray too far from their yard. They are excellent layers of white eggs too and although not very large are fine eating birds when prepared for the table. This Top Hat Special is an assortment including at least 4 different crested varieties from this list: White Crested Black Polish, Buff Laced Polish, Golden Polish, Silver Polish, White Polish, Black Polish, Mottled Houdans, Crevecoeurs, and Sultans. They will be the wonder and amazement of your friends and neighbors, a real joy to own.

Chicks came through the mail, all in excellent health. Very happy with McMurray Hatchery chicks in comparison to the chicks I have ordered from other hatchery's!
This was the first time that I had ever orderd chickens before from a hatchery online. I was a little nervous at first but all nerves went away when all the chicks arrived healthy. Every morning I look forward to putting them outside in their cage and watch them eat the grass. They are all a pleasure to be with and are the talk of friends and family when they come over. As a matter of fact, my grandma fell in love with them so much that I went ahead and gave her two. Thank you McMurray for the wonderful experience.
I ordered this group about 5 months ago and had gotten one as a unusual extra they send when you order. They are cute. They are not a large bird, but they lay a good size egg which actually surprised me. The roosters are not loud, and he doesn't crow all day like my Rhode Islands, which is a plus if you don't want a verbose bird. I am very pleased, and the selection was awesome.
I got my top hat special on June 19. They are now 2 months old. It is so much fun to watch them change as they grow. Everyone loves to look at them. They are very different for our area. All 25 are doing well. My 7 year old daughter loves to help with them. They are mild temperament and enjoy the attention.
Picked up my chicks today. They are all in great health. The are so cute. I can't wait to see which are male and which are female!
I got my top hat special in November and they are absolutely wonderful.
They are all so friendly and beautiful. My hens are so friendly I can
call them and they come running. I received 6 different varieties of
Polish. It was more than I had hoped for.
