White Langshans are a large stately appearing chicken. Originating in China, these beautiful birds are pure white when mature with dark brown eyes and slatey blue shanks. The chicks are dark gray to smoky white. Langshans lay brown eggs. These birds are very nice for showing. After the breeding season, our flock owner likes to keep a trio of these in his front yard just to look at each day.
As a reminder, to help ensure a safe arrival to you, the minimum number of chicks for each order prior to April 1st is 25. On and after April 1st, the minimum number of chicks required is 15. You can mix and match any type of baby chick in your order to reach the applicable chick minimum order. If ordering any bantams, we require a minimum of 15 bantams per order.

Customer Product Reviews
Very nice show birds! I ordered these last January and took them and their offspring to the fair this year. Won Grand Champion Exhibiton Pen for Wabash County! (we're a very competitive county) Everyone is in love with them and I will be taking them to the Indiana State Fair in August!
product review I just got back from the post office with my 26 White Langshan chicks and all 26 + 1 free chick are doing great. I am very happy with Murray McMurray Hatchery!
I have raised White Langshans before. Delightful breed although the hens were perpetually broody until I let them hatch. I have even tried to get this magnificent variety elsewhere, but other hatcheries did not have the pure strain. The chicks have such a unique color then blossom into an exquisite white as they feather. They keep themselves show stopping clean and are always friendly. I am so pleased with the Langshan chicks I got from McMurray Hatchery I will not only recommend them to others but I will be buying more of them. They have high quality true to breed adults. If you want outstanding birds that lay xl to jumbo eggs buy these.
White Langshans are the most friendly breed I have ever seen. when I go out to the coop they are the first to come and say hello. They lay large round brown eggs with small speckles. They are so much fun to have in our flock. Agent A.
I ordered a few of these last year (with a few other breeds), and could not have been more pleasantly surprised. They are large and docile as described, but are much more beautiful than I expected. Pictures of this breed do not do them justice. Just want to thank Murray McMurray for introducing me to this breed, they are exceptional.
These are BEAUTIFUL birds. Mine are now six months old, and are just as described. They look regal with the U-shaped slope of their backs, and the tall tails. They are calm but active for such a large bird. I am always pleased with orders from McMurray, but these are an absolute favorite.
