I have a couple of lady Amherst pheasant;The female laid 15 eggs and sit on them;but none were fertile;no wonder,for she seems to be very aggressive towards the male;He ran away from her each time she comes near by;he tried to court her but she was not ready?ANYBODY has an answer to that behaviour ?thanks;Paul

there is no age difference for i bought male and female the same time;i think female are more mature;the male start really courting and mating once he has all his definite colour;now ,a year later,the female has laid 7 fertile eggs;they all hatched out good;
