Does anybody know what would cause 100% of a 20 chick (21 including a free one) order to be DOA at the post office? I speculate that the small box with all its vent holes opened arrived at the PO @ 3:00am, and sat in an the air-conditioned room for 5 hours until they opened @ 8:00am. The PO worked told me that they always receive live chicks and this has never happened before. McMurry is replacing my order, and I am hoping the these chicks will survive the ordeal.
