That is a red star rooster. They are the ones that McMurray uses as "filler" chicks since they are easy to identify as roosters.

Thomas, I think we'd need a better photo to help you out. Something from the side that shows leg and wing color. Can you tell what type of comb you unknown is (straight, rose, etc)?
