We just had a chick die. She would not lay down to sleep, she refused to eat and rarely drank. I fed her honey water with liquid vitamins using a dropper. Did this around the clock and she still died. She was very small compared to the others. I'm assuming she was just a failure to thrive since she died 4 days after hatching. All the others are doing spectacular except for one. Now I have another (same breed, Silver Laced Wyandotte) who is not laying down to sleep. I'm afraid this one will end up dying too. Any ideas what we might be dealing with? No sticky bottom on these chicks.
