I live on a barrier island off the coast of Port O'Connor, Tx. Been living out here full time for nearly 8 years, currently have 42 chickens.

I am in East Texas. Not far from Jasper. We are on Toledo Bend Lake. I have six Started Pullets we just received in today, I have not had chickens for a year or so but looking forwards to keeping them again.
Plans for other breeds, Bantams and raising broilers in the future ,
I would like to try some broilers R heavy crosses on my Red Star hens to see which will produce the best Meat Bird from my laying hens. I would like to be able to hatch my own meay birds out of my laying hens. So I plan to order a couple of different roosters to try.
My hens are out of a Delaware cross so I was thinking they might produce close to what I want. I have a small Turn X Incubator that should hatch me 14-18 chicks at a time for raising meat birds,
