When stating 2sq ft per bird, is that allowing room for roosts and feeders? My chickens will be in the coop at night only.

I have 34 Isa Brown hens and sell my eggs at our Farmers Market for $4.50/ dozen.
I feel 2 square feet per bird is the very minimum if you really feel for your chickens. Yes, you could include the coups and nesting boxes but the more room they have the better is their life. In fact it is best if you can rotate the run areas.

I like no less than 4 s/f per per bird and 3 s/f for bantams.

Does the four sq ft include roosting area and room for feeders, waterer and nests?
