I am adding on to my 15x11 coop with run the same size the add on will be a 20x 15 coop and run I have some 30 birds in my coop right know how many more birds can I add to my flock?

Chickens need 3 square feet per bird. So in a 20 x 15 coop you could fit up to 100 birds, but it's good to have a little extra space available. So you could give them 4 sq ft and be able to fit 75 birds.

Thank you for that question and answer! My hen house/covered run will be 387sq ft and I'm starting with 38 birds. My husband was afraid I was over doing it! Wait til he hears I can add more ;)

Just remember, the square footage quoted is a MINIMUM amount. Your chances of problems increase with the decrease in space per bird, in terms of disease, chicken to chicken negative interaction, and pest control.
I much prefer using double that amount (6 sq ft/ bird) as my preferred minimum.
