I have a problem with snakes getting in the coop and eating eggs. The girls have started laying their eggs out in various places. Any suggestions as to how to get rid of the snakes without killing them?

There is a product out called Snake-Away. Not sure how effective it is. Unless you can make your coop snake-proof, such as using wire with smaller holes, you will continue having snake problems. Here in South Georgia we have problems with oak snakes, also called gray rat snakes, eating eggs and biddies. The most effective way to stop a snake from decimating your eggs is to kill it.

Snake away works well! Dogs that are chicken friend or trimming your yard down minimizing cover for predators
