Do I need to provide feed for my guineas if they are free ranged?

I do leave out feed for my guineas. Theres no guarante that they can find enough to get what they need especially right now. It's always safe to leave a bowl of crumbles just in case they need food to balance out what they didnt find :).

I leave hen scratch out for mine and have a small roof over it to keep from getting wet

GreenAcres. Guineas,Longhorns cattle,English Pointer bird dogs, Horses, 4 cats and lap dog Little Wolf. Just a nutty broad hobby farming critters and feeding the wild life.
I have a premix I have made up that is good for all Wild game chicks and adult Guineas and quail and turkey and dove that's 20% protein and it's a crumble/mash. I keep free feeders in bird barns full all year around even when free ranging. The deer love this mix also I put this mix with cracked corn in my deer feeders.
