Hi, we have a month old duckling who is housed indoors with four others. The one has a purple tinge underneath a few of her feathers that are starting to come in as well as on the sides of her cheeks. Is this normal?

We haven't ever heard of that. Can you send a picture of the bird? Does it appear to be bruised?

Are you talking about ten plum feathers? Duck breed idk so if it's a Rouen or mallard would look more purple around that age. Looks almost like a teal
