I'll never forget my 2012-2014 4H grand champion Jersey Giant rooster, Blackbeard. He was so gentle I could let toddlers hold him and he would fall asleep in your lap with a simple tummy or comb rub. He certainly stood out as our mystery chick amongst our flock of Buff Orpingtons.
