Blue Runner Ducks are tall, slender waterfowl with a vertical posture and run upright in groups. Runner Ducks are excellent foragers and are good layers. While other varieties such as the Chocolate and Black Runner Ducks will breed true, the Blue will not as only 50% of the offspring of ducks and other waterfowl and poultry that carry a blue gene will be blue.
