Barred Rock Started Pullets are grass fed

The feathers on a Barred Rock, are black with white barring throughout. Barred Rocks are known as American's oldest dual purpose, heritage breed, used primarily for excellent production of large brown eggs even in the summer heat.

  • At maturity these pullets weigh 6 pounds and will begin laying at around 24 weeks.
  • All our Barred Rock pullets are not debeaked and are free ranged on our farm
  • Our Barred Rocks  are  fed daily with a specially made All Natural Feed ration
  • These girls are all friendly since they are accustomed to being fed at a certain spot every day.
  • Are fully vaccinated.
