India Blue Peafowl are the most iconic of all the varieties of peafowl. Peafowl are one of the most ornamental types of poultry in the world with their expansive fan of tail feathers. Originating thousands of years ago in tropical regions, these birds have been prized by everyone from the pharaohs of Egypt, to you, the poultry hobbyist.

These birds are not pinioned and can fly.  To request that a wing be clipped, please call our office at (800) 456-3280. Please note, even with their wing clipped, peafowl can jump 8 feet in the air.
