The Trumpeter Swans are the largest waterfowl species in North America, weighing 21-30 pounds.  Some males will exceed 35 lbs.  They can live as long as 20 years or more.

They will breed at 4 years of age, and usually molt in July and August.

The Trumpeter diet is mainly vegetarian.  They eat stems, leaves and roots while in the water.  In the winter they will eat grains, such as a poultry layer feed.

They are available in male/female pairs, are 3-5 years old.  They have been pinioned.

During extreme summer heat all Swans will be shipped via Delta or Continental Cargo.  You will need to pick up your Swans at the airports serviced by these two carriers.
