The Silver Laced Cochin is a one of our more rare varieties of Cochins. Often kept for exhibition, they are a silver-white bird with black lacing on each feather — similar to the Silver Laced Wyandotte.  

The Cochin breed is one of our family favorites — known for their abundance of soft, fluffy feathers from head to toe. Cochin hens are decent layers, extremely likely to set, and are a good option for families as backyard chickens due to their quiet and gentle disposition.
