Ameraucana Bantam

Better than expected!I ordered a few of these to fill out my bantam flock and add some color interest to my egg basket. These chicks were lively and thrived upon arrival! They were easy to handle and grew out in beautiful colors. They started laying somewhere around 22 weeks and produce stunning turquoise and green eggs. I am so pleased with how these ladies turned out, especially because out of the 7 of these that I ordered I received only 2 roosters (That's luck of the draw, but even the roos that I got have been flighty but not mean, so I was happy to keep them!). If you are considering these to add to your flock, I highly suggest you do!

PERFECTI WISH I HAD A THOUSAND OF THESE IN MY BACKYARD. They are GORGEOUS, show quality, WIDE variety of colors, don't eat much feed, lay TONS of cute little green & blue eggs seasonally. They don't lay in winter. They never go broody. They have ENERGY and PERSONALITY. Surprisingly-same as standard Ameraucanas, I find them to be fragile, not good at eluding predators. You would think they would be tough as gamefowl because of their looks but they certainly are not gamefowl although the little roosters do fight each other a lot-entertaining when they're free ranging
