	Customer Product Reviews   I had a female one of these chickens. And they make excellent pets. They are a bit independent, but not to independent, and love to with be you.     We have two japanese bantam hens. These are the most amiable and clever birds we have ever had! We even set up a little roost inside for their frequent visits to the house. We have a large laying flock, but these little birds are like pets. Better than any fancy parrot, ever!

Did You Know? Chickens can start sparring to establish the pecking order at about 6 weeks of age. (And I've seen it in 1 week old chicks.)
