White Laced Red Cornish

Good free range birdsI've had 2 in a mixed free range flock since 2019 and they are great birds that are pretty to look at, forage well, and are reliable layers. They can be very loud and noisy but it doesn't bother me.

Disappointing...Very tiny birds for a Cornish, also I see little to no lacing on most of the birds, one is almost solid red with just a white tail and head, another is barred instead of laced, and 4 out of 5 have oddly shaped wings, kinda like angel wing in ducks. If you took these to a show you would come in dead last. Body shape is completely wrong and again, they are just so small, the chicks are the size of a silkie chick and the adults are not much bigger than a white leghorn. These birds are more like red and white mixed breeds than they are cornishes. On top of all of that ordered 1 cockerel and 4 pullets but got all pullets, that might be for the best though, I don't think I would want to breed these things.

The birds are very friendly, they are decent free rangers, and they are very hardy, but they are not cornishes. They are scrawny red and white birds with folded wings that don't even resemble a cornish. You guys really need to get a different breeding flock, something is seriously genetically messed up with your birds, I have never seen this weird crooked wing in any other chicken before. Also, you need to do something about the size and coloring, as I said before, they look like mixed breeds, there is little to no white lacing on them, some don't have any lacing but just patches of white and red, and others are barred, not laced. Also, Cornishes are supposed to be big meat birds, not scrawny deformed leghorn sized disgraces. I know you should not expect show quality birds from a hatchery but I do expect to get a bird that is at least recognizable as it's breed.
