Here is another fine example of the crested fowl and among the most ornamental of all. These were brought to their wonderful point of development by European and English breeders as long ago as the mid 1800's. Very showy and also useful layers of white eggs. Baby chicks are a dark brown.

How much for 10 golden polish female chicks
We are very sorry, all of our Polish are done for this year. They are no longer available for the rest of 2022. We will have them all back next year for our 2023 chick year. Thank you.

How are your polish breeds sexed? Are there more distinctive features to sex them at different ages (6weeks)?
As babies we vent sex the chicks to determine whether they are male or female. Once they're older the females will have a more sleek and rounded crest and without any spriggy feather sticking out. The male's crest will look a more tousled and the feathers will come to a sharper point then the females will. the males will also start to crow eventually as well.

One of our favorites!This is our first flock. We bought 10 different types of chicks. Our Golden Polish is one of our favorites! We named her Hedwig. She is so sweet and beautiful. One of our labradoodles got a hold of her when she was very young. I thought we were going to lose her. We separated her from the flock for approximately 3 days and she completely recovered. We would order more of these beautiful birds in a heartbeat!

Surprise ChickReceived this as our free surprise chick, unfortunately it failed to thrive, and we tried everything to rescue it! My husband spent hours trying to help it out, but nothing seemed to help. All our other 17 chicks we ordered are doing great and thriving!
