Red Golden Pheasants come from the mountains of Central China. Its name comes from the male's beautiful red and gold plumage. The plumage and features differ greatly between the sexes. Females are rusty red with finely barred black feathers. (Immature male's plumage like that of a female.) They are from the 2008 Spring hatch.
They have not come into their full plumage color.
Birds are sold only in Pairs (2 birds from the drop down) one Male and one Female.
