These massive Asiatic fowl are covered with an extraordinary abundance of soft, fluffy, golden buff feathers from tip to toe. They were introduced from China in the mid 1800's, known as Shanghais, and created a sensation wherever shown. They are poor layers, but good setters and beautiful show birds.
I ordered some of your Buff Cochins last year, and I have to say they are beautiful and such characters! Friendly, sweet and commical. I can't imagine not having some of these now.
I ordered a few chickens this year, among them, Buff Cochins. I LOVE these chickens!! I tell everyone they're the chickens wearing bloomers. They will follow you everywhere, and are very sweet.
Thank You for the healthy stock!
Sincerely,

Did You Know?
If you break a fresh egg into a dish, the white is compact and firmly holds the yolk up. In an old egg, the white is runny and the yolk will flatten out.
