Taking their name from the famous city in France, Toulouse Geese (along with White Embdens) are the most popular commercial geese sold in America. They produce excellent yields of goose down and all-dark meat. The varying shades of gray in the plumage emphasize their deep, rounded breasts and massive appearance. Expect fall weights of 18 to 20 pounds for males and 12 to 13 pounds for females.
LEG TAPE: If your birds were sexed and identified with colored tape, the tape can be removed upon receipt, or it will fall off within 14 days.

We just got our 2 Toulouse goslings about 1 week ago and I am already in love!!! They are healthy, happy and have become a huge part of the family along with our 28 Buff Orpington's that are just over 3 months old and our 3 cats. Thank you McMurray for such great animals and great service!
In 2011, I bought 12 weeder geese. I expected crosses but they seem to be full blooded of different breeds. I can't be happier with them & they are now laying. They keep the ducks and hens in line, never mind when a truck pulls up. And no stray dogs anymore! Great protectors.
I ordered one Toulouse gosling last spring to watch over the four ducklings I also purchased. Not only has she done just that, but she also alerts me when cars pull into my driveway or when someone has come into the yard. She is friendly and the sweetest goose I've ever known. She has protected my chickens too! She is also gorgeous - and would make a perfect show-goose! Thank you, and I will be ordering another (or two, or three) next spring!
I got 11 Toulouse goslings and after 5 weeks they are all doing well and growing fast. They love to graze and eat weeds. Some will be butchered.
I would most certainly order again from McMurray's. The other day I got 27 chicks, and they also are doing just fine!

I have a small gaggle of 6 Toulouse geese that I ordered from you. They imprinted on me immediately and are very social. It has been said that geese make great watch-geese, and I would say this is true. I believe that originally I got them with the intent of using them for meat, but I have bonded with them. They are healthy healthy birds and we love them! Cheryl
This prouduct was wonderful. The meat was good and they were good layers and also good for meat.
