The Pilgrim breed of goose was developed in the early 1900's in Iowa - one of the few American bred geese. They are very calm and good mothers. A unique characteristic of the Pilgrim goose is that its sex can be determined from its feather color. The males are white with touches of gray. The females look like a Toulouse though they often have white faces. The ideal weight for the females is 10-13 lbs., and males 12-14 lbs. They will lay an average of 20-25 eggs per year.
Limited to 6 per order.
