Toulouse Geese

Toulouse Geese, along with White Embden Geese, are the most popular commercial breed of geese sold in America. Toulouse Geese produce excellent yields of goose down and all-dark meat.

This breed was named after the city of Toulouse, France. These geese are varying shades of gray with deep, rounded breasts and a massive appearance. Fall weights average 18-20 pounds for males and 12-13 pounds for females.

Do your Toulouse geese have the extra neck skin in then or no, I’m looking in to getting some and I want to be sure that these geese are the once’s that I wanna get.
Sorry, we do not offer Dewlap Toulouse, with the extra skin hanging below the beak.

Are your Toulouse broody? Are they good parents?
Toulouse geese do go broody and are excellent mothers.

do geese require a pond or other water source?
They do not have to have it, but they do enjoy it.

I ordered a male and female emden goslings. They both have pink leg bands. One has it on the right leg and one has it on the left. Which is the boy and which is the girl? Thank you Susan James
The one with a band on its right lef is a male. The left band is a female

We suggest Waterfowl Starter feed for baby goslings.

When are the Toulouse Geese available?
Toulouse Geese are available March through June each year.

Do you sex these geese?
Yes, we now offer sexed geese.

What is the minimum number of goslings?
You can order as few as 2-9 goslings after April 1st, but there is a small order fee for these orders. We offer free shipping on orders of 10 or more geese.
