Hen Saddles

Fabulous!I love these! My girls were in bad shape-I kept cleaning wounds and trying to keep them isolated until they were healed. I found these gems, ordered them and received them right away. They went on beautifully, and the girls wear them proudly-actually they look adorable! They are protected and I am so happy. I'm going to get another pack or two. If you have hens that are getting picked on-these saddles are the solution. Thank you!!

Very Long Lead TimeI ordered these 5+ weeks ago, and never received them. After 2 emails to Murray McMurray, I canceled my order. Murray has been wonderful to work with, as always, and this review is no reflection on their hard work and excellent customer service. But beware these saddles come directly from a 3rd party supplier. 3 weeks after I placed my order, I emailed Murray's customer support and was informed that these saddles come directly from a supplier, and usually takes 2-4 weeks to ship orders out. I waited another 2 weeks before emailing again and was informed that the supplier waits for several orders to come in before they begin processing. After 5+ weeks, my hens can't wait any longer. I ordered these saddles when I was seeing some bare and bald backs, so at this point you can imagine what they look like 5 weeks later. I REALLY wanted to wait for the product because I didn't have time to sew them myself, but at this point it's been WAY too long. Hopefully for the supplier's sake, they can speed up product and process each order at the time it is placed, because their current lead time is unacceptably frustrating.
