White Embden geese originated by the Em River in Germany and were first brought to the U.S. in 1821. They have the same massive appearance as the Toulouse, combined with a pure white color. They are a wonderful eating bird and easier to dress because of the white plumage. Expect fall weights of 20 pounds for males and 13 pounds for females. Excellent for purebred showing.

*WARNING* If your geese arrive with leg bands, the bands must be removed within 7 days! Leaving the bands on can harm your fowl!

Customer Product Reviews
Just got 10 White Embdens the other day, and they are the funniest, sweetest birds we've gotten yet! They enjoy eating from my hand and they already recognize my face and voice! Thanks!!!
I just wanted to say that Embdens are not just good for meat, but also pets. We bought four, and they imprinted on me and, even though they are grown, they still follow me around. They are very intelligent, sweet, and have a lot of personality. They are also woderful lawn mowers. A Goose Lover
