How many roosters do you need to keep eggs fertile?
To have fertilized eggs, you will need 1 rooster to 8-12 hens &
roosters should be isolated by breed with like hens 4-7 days to
keep eggs fertile.
Hens will lay eggs without a rooster present. Eggs of course will not be fertile.
