Red Frizzle Cochin Bantams are one of the most unique Bantam chickens we carry. Unlike all other chickens, the feathers on a Frizzle curve outward instead of the traditional smooth feathering.

NOTE: The frizzle feathering does not show as baby chicks and appears later as their feathering comes in. It is also important to note that due to the genetics, the frizzle trait does not breed true 100% of the time. Approximately one fourth of frizzle chicks will develop normal (smooth) feathering. When ordering, we recommend ordering ample chicks to allow for this.
