French Toulouse Geese
French Toulouse Geese are a larger, hardy variety of Toulouse. This production strain is raised commercially in France, and is not bred for exhibition.
Toulouse geese are varying shades of gray with deep, rounded breasts and a massive appearance. French Toulouse are large, calm geese averaging 15-18 lbs. (vs. the standard Toulouse which averages 14-16 lbs.). Females lay an average of 35-50 eggs per year.
