Rare Turkey Assortment

Healthy BirdsI ordered the rare turkey assortment and received some bourbon reds black Spanish and Narraganset turkeys. They all arrived healthy and on time. I did not lose any birds.

Healthy, but BlandMcMurray is an excellent hatchery that conducts their business professionally always. I purchased the Rare Turkey Assortment, and as stated, I received 15 good looking turkeys. 1 turkey did die soon and I received a full refund. I had 1 additional turkey die within the first few days. The other 13 turkeys are growing and doing well!

I ordered these turkeys with excitement about the mix I would receive. In my opinion, I can’t help but wonder if I received the least preferred breeds. I received 6 solid white (white holland), 3 black (Spanish black), and 6 chocolate turkeys. In my opinion, these were the three most bland varieties available.

McMurray stated they would provide at least 3 varieties, so they fulfilled their duties. However, I would suggest purchasing the exact breeds you want if you want colorful birds.
