NEW! This straight run package of Coturnix Quail are sold in lots of 10 quail chicks per order (unsexed / straight run). Feather colors and patterns will vary. Please note this assortment is based on availability, therefore we are unable to guarantee a specific number of varieties per order. 

To ensure safer shipping, Coturnix Quail are shipped will range from approximately 3-6 weeks of age. Quail grow much more rapidly than chickens, therefore upon arrival these Coturnix chicks will be starting to feather out.

Coturnix Quail are miniature dual-purpose birds that are ideal for a variety of settings including urban and backyard keepers, and homesteads or hobby farms. Coturnix are easy to raise, are fast growing — going from chick to laying in just 8 weeks, and they come in a variety of colors. Raise them for their small, distinctive spotted eggs or for meat. As a meat bird, Coturnix will average 3-6 ounces at maturity.

Coturnix Quail can be moved from a brooder to a hutch, cage or enclosure once they are fully-feathered, which is around 4 weeks. Use care when moving outside to ensure that the weather is good.
