Lavender Orpingtons

What a beautiful breed!Our Lavender Orpington rooster is now close to a year old. He is absolutely wonderful, in every way: He's a real show-stopper to look at, and not just for his unique and beautiful coloring. HIs stance is tall and proud, tail high, absolutely picture perfect. He even has a perfect song! His personality is great, too. He's gentle and sweet with us and a great protector of the rest of the flock. We think this new breed is going to be a real winner for Murray McMurray. We've been counting on Murray McMurray for top-quality chicks, breeds, and customer service for over a decade now. Well done, Murray McMurray! Thank you!

gorgeousWe have 2 hens that are now in their 3rd year. Georgeous and graceful but not nearly as sociable as other Orpingtons. We named one Karen as she is always in everyone else's business. But neither care to have much to do with us humans. Both went broody and we let one hatch a clutch of eggs. She was an excellent mother and did a great job raising her chicks and teaching them the ropes.
