Get your chicks off to a good start with Quik Chik™. Put this combination of vitamins and electrolytes in the drinking water right from the first day. It will help overcome shipping stress, and get them off to a good start. One 4 oz. package takes care of about 200 chicks for 2 weeks. We can send the 4 oz. packet in the corner of the box that your chicks are shipped in. Quik Chik is also good for ducks, geese, turkeys, pheasants, quail and partridge. We can include a 4 oz. packet with your fowl orders also.

Dosage: Put 1 teaspoon in each gallon of water. Mix fresh daily. Quik Chik can also be mixed in to feed at a rate of 4 ounces Quik Chik per 250 pounds of feed. Keep package sealed. Can still be used if the powder gets hard.

Why are there so many warnings on the package label? Do I really need to wear PPE (eye googles, gloves and a mask) when I mix it into the water?! I followed the directions, but I feel silly. And then of course I wonder why is it so dangerous? Concerned...
It has citric acid in it. Basically lemon juice; and it will hurt if you get it in your eyes. And if you snort it. Im afraid a little common sense would be enough but, labels are there because somebody did get it in there eyes, and snorted it at some time. Its perfectly safe but irritable, much like me. Tom

Quik Chik is an organic vitamin supplement. Many customers provide Quik Chik for two weeks, some simply complete the package. There is no determined length of time you must provide the Quik Chik. You can also keep some to use later during other stressful times, such as during molt season.

Yes, it contains vitamins and electrolytes to help get the birds rehydrated after shipping.
