Murray’s Broad Breasted Bronze Turkey is the crown jewel of premium broad-breasted turkeys. With excellent conformation and high meat quality, these bronze beauties have nearly a century of breeding excellence behind them.

Developed from the original Orlopp lines brought over to the states from England in the 1930s, Murray’s Broad-Breasted Bronze Turkey has beautiful feathering and offers excellent feed conversion. This variety is one of the largest, and heaviest, turkey varieties in North America. Often referred to as the quintessential Thanksgiving turkey., these immense birds can measure up to four feet in length with a six-foot wing span. Full-grown toms (males) will weigh in at 39-40 pounds at 20 weeks, while hens (females) average 23 pounds at 18 weeks.
